New Indian Parliament building inaugurated by Modi
The new Indian Parliament building was inaugurated today – May 28th, 2023 by the Prime minister Shri Narendra Modi.
The new Parliament building is part of the revamped Central Vista project. Construction started in 2019. Estimated cost of Rs 1,200 crore, the new Parliament has three storey with a built-up area of 64,500 sqm.

Union Finance Ministry will also launch a Rs 75 coin to mark the inauguration of the new Parliament.
