Accredited Social Health Activists (ASHA) lovingly known as ASHA workers are trained female community health volunteers who are part of the National Health Mission (NHM).

Many parties and prominent persons are pouring in their support forcing the ruling government a stand. Prominent among them are Shashi Tharoor, Central ministers, poets and film worlds.

The atmosphere seemed like it would worsen as the politics began to get shape and angry young men came in with their support in slogans however the Police were quick to respond. The ASHA Workers also lend in their support by announcing to keep calm and not let the government a cause to finish of their strike.
