A Wife Sharing incident took a wrong turn when a 71-year-old man got arrested for shooting upskirt videos in a mall. The culprit is a former EDF employee is now on trial in Avignon, facing charges along with 50 other men for the rape of his wife, a 70-year-old woman who was heavily drugged and unaware of the abuse. Over a decade, the husband allegedly recruited strangers online to assault her, using powerful tranquilizers to keep her unconscious. He provided detailed instructions to the assailants to avoid detection and even participated in the assaults, recording them and encouraging abusive behavior.
The investigation began in September 2020 when he was caught filming women in a shopping center. Police uncovered thousands of images and videos of the woman, revealing multiple incidents of rape.
In total, 72 men have been identified in connection with 92 cases of rape, with 51 formally detained. .

So they would be virgin or new to sex and would be easy prey to the old men. The man would soon act like a drunkard who could not drive home and soon would ask his new friend to drop him home.
The unsuspecting youth would drop him to his flat and to the bedroom. If his wife is a kinky partner then it would be her job to seduce him else the youth would find a beautiful sleeping wife, who unknown to the youth is drugged or drunk. The man would request him to stay for some time or till he gets sober else he may again go to the bar. The trap is set and the youth will be lured in. However in this case, instead of the bar, he goes to a now-defunct website, coco.fr, to hire strangers to sexually assault his wife, as revealed by police through his chat logs. He would administer powerful tranquilizers, particularly Temesta, an anxiety medication. Once she is asleep, he would invite them with special instructions like not to wake her during the assaults and prohibiting perfume, aftershave, or cigarette odors. He also asked them to warm their hands before touching her and undressing in the kitchen to avoid leaving clothes in the bathroom.
All this shows that his method was tested and tried and the instructions are the ones he learned from the failures or earlier deeds. His wife might have asked about the odour of cigar or of an unknown dress to which he improvised.

The accused, aged 21 to 68, held various professions, including forklift driver, fire officer, company executive, and journalist, and claimed they were fulfilling the fantasies of a consenting couple. However, the husband has given testimony that the men knew his wife had been drugged without her consent. Only three men did not participate in the assaults.
