Chhavi Mittal was born on 4 September 1970 in Gurgaon, Haryana, India. Chhavi Mittal, from a Hindu background, married director Mohit Hussein who is a Muslim, in 2004. The couple has a daughter named Areeza in 2012 and a son Arham in 201.
Lately, she has met with some controversies but the way she tackled it, is gaining popularity and followers.
On 25 April 2022 after getting diagnosed with Cancer. She underwent breast cancer removal surgery.

A controversy broke out when Chhavi posted some intimate posts with her husband. Her reply to them showed her strong inner mind and the strength that fought the cancer.
“I truly, really appreciate the polite tone you guys take while you put your thoughts across to me. But the ‘strong’ message I conveyed was of strength, resilience, fighting spirit and to live and let live. While the message resonated with you, the very fact that the image bothered you shows double standards. As for depression… I think you totally missed the caption.”
she continued,
“And as for kissing my husband being a personal moment? I’ve been sharing that moment since the last 18 years of being with him. As for you deciding what a ‘celebrity’ should or shdn’t do.. rehne do bhai (Let it be!). The same people clapped when I talked about my breasts when one of them had cancer in them,”
“Lastly, for most people, the mere threat of ‘suspected’ cancer is mind-numbing to the extent of incessant crying and depression. But I have fought it with a smile on my face and the best positive attitude. So really.. when you see my breasts, KNOW that they’re warriors and are here to stay,”
It was visible that her cancer journey had changed her into a tough determined woman. She who met death and returned would probably laugh at all the trolls rather than be worried about some good-for-nothing house wife.
Controversies: Kissing her Kids.
The next issue was when she posted a photo of kissing her kids and many found that too sexy or vulgar and went to advise her
“We should not kiss our kids like that. I will consider this was child abuse. Sorry.”
Many fans came out in Chhavi’s support. Chhavi too responded –
“Unimaginable that some people can have an objection to how a mother loves her kids. The comments that came in my support to this troll’s comment are not just in my support, they are in support of humanity. Love. Unfathomable love,” ”
The actress then went on to share more photos of herself kissing her kids and said, “Sharing a few more pictures of me kissing both my babies on their mouths, coz I don’t know how to set boundaries for my love for them. I teach them to be unabashed about showing love, and they reciprocate. The only thing I teach them to shy away from is hurting people, esp the ones they love. Trolled as Sympathy lover
She also got trolled for showing a bit of skin and some of the moral house wives didnt like it. Chhavia was quick to respond to it with a screen shot.
She also didn’t take it lightly when someone said she was there for sympathy.
